Lamborghini Enters the World of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs)

After a number of social media posts hinting at it, Italian supercar-maker Lamborghini has finally revealed its first NFT (non-fungible token) project. Space Key is a project that was created by a non-publicized artist and based upon advanced carbon fiber composite materials that were shipped to the International Space Station as research material, is a new project that has been announced by lamborghini key fob.

This allows owners to verify the authenticity, scarcity and tracking of their tokens across the internet.

Working with NFT PRO, a white-label NFT solution for businesses, Lamborghini is taking this unique approach to art to a new level. In the coming weeks, Lamborghini will share information about this exciting project. This will include the names of the artists that are not known and a timetable for auction.

The physical component of Space Key

The digital artwork

It's dubbed the Space Key, it consists of five items that unlock a unique digital artwork NFT by an unidentified artist. Created in collaboration with NFT PRO(tm) the "collector's work" is limited to only five units and will be auctioned off soon.

Each Space Key contains a block made of advanced carbon-fire composite material, which was shipped to the International Space Station as part of a 2019 research project. After returning to Earth, the block was engraved with QR codes that connect to the digital element within the Space Key.

Each of the five Space Keys features a different moment that occurs at different times when the Lamborghini Ultimae takes off towards the stars. More than 600 million pixels each of the five images which were shot by photographer Fabian Oefner.

Oefner utilized a balloon with a camera that captured each of the individual shots that were then merged to create the final image. The result is a truly out of this world photograph that captures both the beauty of the Earth as well as the futuristic, hyper-realistic image of the car rising from it. The Space Keys will be auctioned off soon, but the exact date and location of the event haven't been set yet.

The auction
