WoW Upgrades - The item upgrader (Suggested Looking at)

Upgrades give you boosts in certain statistics. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. A random substat is also boosted alongside every upgrade.

The upgraded gear typically has a more value in trade as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or very high stat variance (like the eth titan weapons). Upgrades are less important for those with lower requirements due to the need to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader mod upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of armor or weapon. Upgrade costs differ based on the slot of the item and the current item level. For example weapons are more expensive than bracers, or gloves. For instance, once a piece of equipment reaches the highest upgrade level of any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic) it won't need Flightstones to be upgraded. This change is designed to allow players to get their equipment up to the highest possible ilvl for all their characters rather than relying solely on seasonal loot.

It's also essential to use crests wisely, as they have only one purpose. It's best to use your Whelpling-rank Crests on the Best item upgrader gear you can find and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next set of upgrades. This is especially relevant for rings and trinkets that fill multiple slots on the character, that will be able to avail the discount for all accounts when all of the slots are filled with high-quality gear.
