WoW Upgrades - The item upgrade Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item upgrader mod by 3. Each upgrade also boosts the random substatus.

Upgraded gear is generally more useful, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are less valuable for those with lower requirements due to the need to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of weapon or armor. However, the item that is used for the upgrade will remain in use for a long time and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to enhancements.

The upgrader is located in every major city, and is accessible anytime to upgrade item your gear. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every few weeks.

The cost of upgrading will be based on the current level of the item being upgraded, but will always be cheaper than buying new equipment from other sources. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest up to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. If you purchase a similar item, it will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade weapons, tools, armor, and other accessories. They are purchased by players from NPCs who sell upgrades for items in exchange for a variety of currencies, and can also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased, it can be used on any weapon, tool, or armor using an button, which will display a preview of the item at the next upgrade level if the player has sufficient materials.

The cost of upgrading is based on the item upgrader kit slot and the current level of the item and the weapon's price is higher than bracers or gloves, for example. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones and a number of crests, with certain upgrades offering discounts to reduce the cost of the Flightstones or the crests used. The new currency system isn't complicated to use, however it will bring some modifications to the upgrade process. For instance, when an item reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic), it won't need Flightstones to be upgraded. This change allows players to upgrade their gear to the highest level possible for all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

It's also important to use crests wisely, as they only have one use. It is recommended to put your Whelpling-rank Crests on the highest-quality gear you can locate, and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next round of upgrades. This is especially applicable to rings and trinkets that take up multiple slots on the character, that will be able to take advantage of the discount for all accounts when all of the slots are filled with high-quality equipment.
