The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

It packs a powerful 4600mAh battery which lasts up to 170-minutes, if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can run longer in turbo). It will even return to its dock to replenish its battery mid-clean.

It's extremely quick and does a great job cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms quickly and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways with only one pass. Its motor of 8,000pa is able to clean dirt hair, pet hair, and poop with ease. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it comes in contact with carpets and the dual side brushes help draw away debris from corners.

The mopping performance, though still impressive, isn't as effective. The mop rotates at a high velocity and it pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, easily scraping away dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arms extend out slightly more than other robots, which is helpful to maneuver around tight corners and on baseboards. The front arms can also be used to collect larger debris like books and broken toys.

Another nice feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mops I've ever tried. It doesn't produce as loud of a sound when mopping or vacuuming and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only downside is that the S1 Pro must use a specific cleaning solution to perform its mopping function and is sold separately from the vacuum. It is easy to set up and performs well. However, if you are buying this robot vacuum solely for mopping purposes, you will need to pay attention to this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It comes with a wide array of features that make it an ideal option for homeowners looking for an efficient, flexible and adaptable cleaning machine.

The device is equipped with an impressive and powerful cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensors and an RGB camera to map the house and locate furniture and other obstacles. It can then use this information to clean methodically and efficiently. This ensures an efficient and consistent cleaning and is also quick.

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive item in our review. However, it does have distinct features that make it worth looking into. The X1 Omni is most well-known for its massive dock that doubles as a charging base for the robot, a sink for cleaning and two water tanks that are 4 liters in size. It also houses a 2.5-liter dustbin and the 2.5 milliliter dust bin.

The base also has a number of buttons to control the system. These let you manually start a cleaning job, recall the robot vacuum and mop, or use the dock's automatic emptying process. Hold down two buttons to toggle the child lock. This is a nice feature for parents worried about their children messing around with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums the X1 Omni utilizes its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path and avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni will occasionally get caught up in obstacles, like a power cord draped across a rug, that it gets stuck and ceases to function until you remove it manually. This is a rare event however it was frustrating because the X1 doesn't have an "stuck status" alert on its application.

Another issue that could be a problem is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically change between vacuuming and mopping modes during the cleaning process. You will need to manually switch between the two, which isn't a big deal apart from the fact that the mopping pads aren't cleaned and dried between use which could lead to mildew or mold.

On the bright side the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who dreamed up its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad. It's a big departure from the utilitarian, all-black bases that are used by rivals like Roborock and iRobot and a pleasing view in a market which is dominated by clunky, boxy units.
