Audi G28: The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly

In this video, Charles the Humble Mechanic demonstrates how to replace the G28 engine speed sensor. The sensor is located at the edge of transmission, above the flywheel gear. It transmits a signal to the ECU via a grey wire (T55/49) and then to the tachometer in the instrument cluster.
1. Engine Speed Sensor
The grey wire is located at the edges of the transmission, directly above the flywheel ring. This sensor sends an electrical signal through the grey wire to pin T55/49. The ECU then utilizes this information to regulate fuel, timig and boost. It also sends a signal to the G5 tachometer in the instrument cluster.
The sensor is used to connect the G40 Camshaft position Sensor. The ecu needs to know when the crankshaft is TDC and where the camshaft is located so that it can activate spark and injectors in the right way.
If this sensor fails when it fails, the ECU will display an error code P00160. This indicates that the Crank Shaft is out of sync with the Intake Camshaft. It could also be a sign of an issue with the chain or a jumpy chain link in the upper chain. The code will not appear without the additional information supplied by other sensors (G4 or audi car Key cover (Funsilo.date) G40).
Testing is a bit tricky because there are two pins for the connector and they perform different functions but the most effective method of testing it is to measure the resistance between the sensor and the ECU. When the sensor is fully operational, it should read approximately 1000 ohms. Look for evidence of coolant or oil in the connector bay if you are experiencing issues with this part.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, while accelerating at full speed from the highway paytoll, I experienced massive power loss like the engine is out of gas or the injectors are not firing at all. I took out the spark plugs this morning, three were soaked in gasoline, and the fourth was unclean. I placed a tissue over each injector hole and when i start the engine without sparks, the 3 with gazoline jump out. The 4th one remains shut. I tested the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30 and 48/55. I found 0ohm. I'm assuming the issue is elsewhere.
I also tried to reset the PID but with no luck. The car is able to start if the G28 is disconnected and is running fine when it is connected however it has intermittent misfire issues at higher RPM. The coolant sensor (G62), even when unplugged, still shows an ice temperature of -49c. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bar but the actual pressure is 0.
I'm not sure what to do. I think I've ruled everything else out. I'm worried that i might have missed something. Let me know If you have any suggestions! TIA!
3. Fuel Pump
The fuel pump of the g28 receives signals from the RPM sensor. The GM-style sender is identical to the G4 and both function in the 80, 100, 200, UrS and RS2 cars which is why you can easily locate one at a junkyard or in a local parts store. It is simple to test them to do - just put your DMM in resistance mode and take measurements between pins 1 (with the bump on the connector's side up) and 2 (2nd from left on the black connector's end). They should be infinite Ohms.
4. ECU
The ECU in our 20vt turbo (3B AAN ABY ADU) engines needs to be aware of the position and speed the crankshaft to make decisions regarding fuel injector timing, etc. In order to do this it makes use of a Crank Position Sensor (G4) and an Engine Speed Sensor (G28). If either of these sensors go bad you will get codes on the diagnostic scanner which could cause engine shut down.
A damaged G28 sensor could result in an inaccurate speed counter key for audi your gearbox, a gearbox that shifts faster than normal, or an unfire when in the gear. If you have any of these problems, it is likely that your sensor is deteriorating and should be replaced. They're cheap and easy to find particularly when they're an Bosch sensor like ours. Alternately, GM's version this part is an option.
5. Tachometer
A malfunctioning engine speed sensor could be the cause of numerous issues with your vehicle. It is a crucial part of your audi car key replacement's transmission, because it communicates to the ECU about how fast or slow the vehicle's crankshaft is turning. If this sensor fails, it will affect the performance of the transmission and the rest of the car key cover audi's components.
