WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases the item level upgrade level by +3. A random additional substat is also boosted alongside every upgrade.

The upgraded gear typically has a more value in trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or very high stat variance (like the eth titan weapons). Upgrades are not as important for those with higher variance due to the need to roll a perfect version.
