World of Warcraft Upgrade Item Guide

The Upgrade item is used by trainers to evolve Porygon2 into Porygon2. This evolution requires an Upgrade, an Sinnoh Stone, and 50 Porygon Candy.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be added to armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and weapons. They provide an extra benefit or effect when the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors or players, looted or obtained as rewards, or created using crafting materials. Upgrades can have cosmetic effects, in addition to providing attribute bonuses.

Infusions, inscriptions, and enhancements are a type of upgrade component. They aren't generally accessible for general use, and they can only be applied to ascending equipment or certain non-ascended weapons from the Factions campaign. You can retrieve infusions and inscriptions from equipment by using an Infusion Extractor Device or by salvaging using a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or an Ascended Salvage tool.

Like other upgrade products Phoenix Boxes, unlike other upgrade items, can be traded while still attached to the item upgrade they are upgrading, and can be re-used after being salvaged. These upgrade items can be used to improve the quality of armor and weapon without the expense of Dilithium. They can increase the likelihood that an item will be upgraded to a top quality upgrade.

An upgrade component placed in an item can be replaced with a different one but it is not able to replace the original one (except for upgrades of legendaries and equipment with ascended levels). Upgrade components are only available to upgraded items that have an identification level of zero or greater. If you upgrade the weapon already equipped with a suffix or a prefix upgrade the item will be named in the same way as it would appear on the game screen (for instance, adding an Radiant insignia to Canthan Armor transforms it into Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). A player can own up to three upgrade items at a time.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be an excellent addition to any item. They offer unique advantages and boosts. Certain glyphs increase the number of affixes an item has, which increases its effectiveness. These glyphs are acquired by the completion of dungeons. Some are even found in specific World Tier 3 zones. It's important to remember that glyphs are not available on a character that hasn't created an area of root dungeons of the same size.

To use a Glyph first, you need to build it from components and connect them using anchors. Then, the component will automatically align itself to other components and paths within the same layer. If you don't wish to create the glyph with components, you can use the combination of paths and anchors. Drag an element near a component highlighted to snap it in the right spot.

Some glyphs have conditions to fulfill, for example having 25 Dexterity or more in a particular area on the Paragon Board. Some also require a certain number of Primary Stat nodes to activate and can be a challenge to achieve. Some glyphs also have a radius, which increases as you move it up.

Glyphs are able to be applied to various weapons and objects, except for those belonging to a specific class. Some of these glyphs also have conditions for instance, having a certain amount of damage from Dexterity or Attack in a specific area on the Paragon board.

The Defend Glyph adds a 5% chance to deflect attacks from enemies. It also has a 15% chance to make the Hero vulnerable for two turns.

Certain glyphs can also be used on limited use tools, like the Black Lion Chest and Trading Post. These glyphs are counted towards the Combat Mechanic Achievement.

The most common glyphs in the game are the attack glyphs which boost Artifacts' ATK substats by a fixed value. These glyphs are especially beneficial for classes that employ ranged weapons, such as Warriors or Rogues. The Exploit Glyph can make enemies who attack the Hero vulnerable to damage.

Reroll tokens

Reroll tokens can be used for rerolling a result rolled during an Action. They are destroyed when the reroll occurs. Reroll tokens can be obtained in a variety of ways, such as through raids and dungeons, or through participation in skirmishes. You can also buy them in the shops, or from other players. They are particularly useful in dungeons and trials, because they let players play a reroll of rewards of the final chest.

Recycle points are available for items at level 1. If an item is recycled it will add a certain number of points to the gauge of upgrade. This number will increase depending on the item's value and rarity. The upgraded item also will not be able to keep its level when rerolled and the cost for recycling an upgraded item level upgrade increases as its level rises.

The player may also use reroll tokens in order to reroll an item. However it will not restore the item's original stats or level. This is useful for players who want to reroll an item or piece of equipment they don't like but want to keep in their collection.

Three different kinds of upgrade coins are available in the game - Reroll, randomly generated and upgrade. Each type comes with its own subtypes. For example, reroll tokens are available in three levels: enhanced, rare and legendary. Each level requires an item from the level to create a new item of that quality.

To make use of reroll tokens click on the Satanic or Angelic item upgrade in inventory and select "Reroll Token". Select the type of token you want to use. The tokens that are available include Item, Weapon, Misc, 1hgun, 2hgun and Focus. Using an Best item upgrader token will result in an entirely new Item of any kind. Using the Weapon or Misc token will result in a new weapon of the same faction.

The item may also be upgraded to a new Item Upgrader Kit with the same stats but a higher level. This could happen if the item is in the Pool that is not droppable or was transferred to it as part of a Franchise Card.
